Leo Robinson

Leo Robinson received his wings peacefully on March 26, 2021, at 2:10 p.m. He was born November 18, 1943, in Florence County to the late Harry Robinson and Nancy Packer Robinson Hillery. Leo was educated and graduated from Wilson Senior High School class of 1962. In June 1962 he entered the United States Air Force. He served and was honorably discharged in June 1966. Leo was self-employed as a Tile and Carpet Installer until his retirement Leo was baptized at an early age at Elizabeth Baptist Church by the late Reverend Solomon S. Eaddy. Leo enjoyed playing baseball in his younger years and played with Elizabeth Giants and the Rocky Flyers. He also enjoyed playing cards. His favorite football team was the Dallas Cowboys. Leo was preceded in death in addition to his parents, two brothers; Harry Robinson, Jr., and Samson Robinson, his two sisters; Ida Bracey and Eartha Johnson. Leo leaves to celebrate his life and cherish his memories his seven children; Kelvin Robinson, Nikki Player, and Tonya Jett of Florence, South Carolina, Melvin Robinson and Tyler Barr of Atlanta, Georgia, Monica (Weah) Sonpon of Stafford, Virginia, and Mickey Sams of Chester, Virginia, nineteen grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, one sister; Betty (Arthur) Haynesworth of Stafford, Virginia, one sister-in-law; Earline Robinson of Florence, South Carolina, a very special cousin; Annie Ruth Quillens, also a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins other relatives and friends.
