George Edward Budelis, Sr. age 74, of Joppa, Maryland passed away on March 22, 2021 at University of Maryland Midtown in Baltimore, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late Joseph and Louise (nee Noeth) Budelis and husband of the late Catherine Budelis. Attended Mervo High School prior to being drafted by the U.S. Army. He served in the Vietnam War. After returning from the Army, he worked at Bethlehem Steel/Sparrows Point Shipyard for most of his working years. Once he retired from the shipyard, he worked for a few years at the Pepsi Corporation until he retired for good. He enjoyed gardening, taking walks, going to the casino, and being around his family, especially his grandkids. He taught his children to be wise with money, and he would always find a bargain. He always helped his children and grandchildren with anything they needed help with as he was always willing to lend a helping hand. George is survived by his two sons, George Budelis, Jr. and his wife Julie, Joseph Budelis and his wife Jennifer; grandchildren, Ella, Austin, Patrick, Grace and Lillian; three sisters, Louise Marie Budelis, Margaret Mary Forrester, Anne Elizabeth Ecker; brother, Joseph John Budelis, Jr.. Also survived by many loving Nieces, Nephews, and extended family.
