Earl Maggard Jr., age 65, of Jeff, KY, passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2021, at Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, KY. He was a coal miner for many years, a member of the Community Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was born on April 17, 1955 in Perry County, KY to Mary Rose Deaton Maggard (Buster) and the late Earl Maggard Sr. In addition to his father, he is also preceded in death by two brothers: Jimmy & Bobby Maggard; as well as one sister: Donna Griffith. In addition to his mother, he is also survived by his wife: Patricia Sizemore Maggard; one daughter: Missy Maggard of Jeff, KY; two sons: James Maggard (Lori) of Berea, KY & Michael Maggard of Jeff, KY; one brother: Ricky Maggard (Donna Gail) of Viper, KY; brother-in-law: Robert Griffith; six grandchildren: Jessica, Tyler, Jordan, Steven, Rylan & Kinsley; special friend: Paul Shepherd; as well as a loving host of family & friends Visitation: 6-9PM Saturday March 20, 2021 at Maggard's Mtn.
