Robert C. Riddle

Robert (Bob) C. Riddle, age 73, of Taylor, passed away Friday morning at the Riverside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Taylor, after an illness. He is survived by his beloved wife and best friend, Catherine Best Riddle. Born on April 18, 1942, and son of the late Charles and Ruth Barr Riddle, Bob was a graduate of the former Taylor High School. An appliance repairman, Bob worked for Richards Appliance, West Pittston, for over 50 years. A member of the Moosic Assembly of God Church, he was also a social member of both the former Old Forge American Legion and the V.F.W. Post #8335 of Avoca. A true outdoorsman, Bob enjoyed fishing, boating and camping. Bob was a hard-working and lovable man who cared deeply for his loved ones. He will be forever missed. He is also survived by his step-son, Richard Milazzo, Jr., of Old Forge; his brother, Charles Riddle and wife Rosellen of Dunmore; and his nephews, Atty. Charles and Louis Riddle. A step-son, Brian Milazzo, also preceded him in death. His family wishes to thank the entire staffs of both Riverside Center and All Care Home Care, along with Drs. Nicholas Chiumento and Lana Grzybicki, for the collective care given to Bob throughout his illness. Funeral services are scheduled to begin on Tuesday at noon from the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 517 North Main Street, Old Forge. Interment will follow in Marcy Cemetery, Duryea. Relatives and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday from 10:00AM - 12:00PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Griffin Pond Animal Shelter, 967 Griffin Pond Rd., S. Abington Twp., Pa., 18411.
