Donna R. Klinger, 80, of Waterford, died Saturday March 13, 2021, in Marietta. Born at Rinard Mills, OH Nov. 20, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Chauncy and Daisy Schneider Rinard. She was a graduate of Lawrence High School and had attended Mountain State College. Donna had been employed as a secretary/bookkeeper at the Doc Greuey Marathon Bulk Plant. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and the Churchtown Catholic Women’s Club. Donna enjoyed working outside in her landscaping and garden, with her dog Lucy by her side. Donna so enjoyed her grandchildren, attending most all of their sporting events. She loved it whenever they got together and told stories and laughed. Survivors include her daughter Anita Horner (Alan), of New Concord; two sons, Steven Klinger (Rachel), of Waterford, and Stacey Klinger, of Beverly; seven grandchildren, Michelle Sidwell (Doug), Mitchell Horner, Matthew Klinger (Nicole), Emily, Sarah, Isaac and Lydia Klinger; one great-grandson, Walter Klinger, and one great-grandson arriving next month; one brother, Roger Rinard, of Newport; as well as many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter E. Klinger, whom she married Oct. 5, 1963. Also by two sisters, Vivian Rinard and Shirley Beaver. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be 10:00am Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at St. John’s Catholic Church, with The Rev. David Gaydosik and The Rev. Dale Tornes con celebrating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Donna’s family will greet friends at the Lowell Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm, where the Rosary will be prayed at 7:30pm. Social distancing will be observed and masks will be required by all attending.
