CAMPBELL, Sylvia Dianne (Grey)-At Bluewater Health on March 10, 2021 at the age of 87. Beloved wife of Ross Campbell for 64 years. Loving mother of John (Laurie) Campbell, Sarnia, Marjorie (Barry) Dickens, Sarnia. Mother-in-law to Clair Campbell. Dear gramma of Dave, Crystal, Steven, Melissa, Josh, Diane, Jennifer, and Ross. Great grandmother of 10. Predeceased by sons Danny and Kevin Campbell, daughter Cathy Prevost, sister Sandra Grant and mother and father Marjorie & William Grey. Sylvia used to love playing bingo on her computer but most recently loved watching her favorite shows on tv. The highlight of her week was her Saturday facetime with grandson Dave and his bunny Lil Bear. Before Covid she loved spending time with her family, getting together for birthday celebrations and Christmas. Special thanks to the staff at Bluewater Health Palliative care for their kindness and compassion. The Broken Chain We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name, In life we loved you dearly; in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone. For part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide, And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again. In keeping with Sylvia’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral service.
