Scott Allen Joyce, age 61 of Tampa, FL, formerly of Chesterton, IN passed away on February 27, 2017 in Tampa, FL. He was born on September 26, 1955 in Valparaiso, IN to Electra Joyce who preceded him in death and Jack Joyce who survives in Arizona.

He is also survived by his son, Steven Joyce of Ohio; his brother, Tom (Margaret) Joyce of North Carolina; his sister, Susan (Keith) Hundt of Arizona; his close friends, Rande Friedman and Wendy Peterson; and by his first wife and Steven’s mother, Wendy (Tom) Joyce Thieling of Chesterton, IN.

Scott attended Purdue university and received his undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering. He also received his MBA from Northwestern University. Scott was very dedicated to his work in real estate and all of his customers loved him. In his free time, he enjoyed working out at the gym. He was a very kind, knowledgeable, and dependable man.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 10 a.m. at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 South Second Street, Chesterton, IN. Burial will follow at Chesterton Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 10, 2017 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
