James Walter Waldrup

James “Jim” W. Waldrup, Jr. of Aberdeen, MD passed away surrounded by the love of his family at the University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Medical Center on March 4, 2021. He was 74 years old. Jim was the devoted husband of 47 years to Jessie M. (Lobdell) Waldrup. Born in Anniston, AL to the late James W. Waldrup, Sr. and Mary Edna (Boone) Waldrup. Jim was the loving father to Kimberly Moor (Timothy) and Dawn Perry (Joseph), beloved grandfather to Bret Moor, Luke Moor, Logan Perry, Jason Perry and Connor Perry, brother to Nelda Griffey, Rita West and the late Kenneth and Harold Waldrup. Mr. Waldrup was a veteran of the U.S. Army, who then went to work at the J. M Huber Corporation for many years, upon retirement he was able to enjoy more time for fishing, crabbing, bowling, golf, traveling, camping, getting together with friends and driving through Havre de Grace taking the same route each time to enjoy the scenery. Most importantly above all he enjoyed his family and cherished his time with his grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2021 from 5 P.M. to 8 P.M at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 12, 2021 at 11 A.M. at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A. Interment will follow at Harford Memorial Gardens.
