<p>Ms. Bobbie Alberta Collins was born to Clinton and Mellie Wheeler on July 24, 1945 in Collins, Mississippi.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>She was a loving mother, sister, niece and grandmother.&nbsp; She shared a very special bond and relationship with her loving granddaughter, Brandie Nicole Goens.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>She moved to Hamilton, OH at the age of 18 where she later married and mothered three children.&nbsp; She was employed by the City of Hamilton Board of Education where she was the first African American bus driver for over 30 years.&nbsp; She joined Mt. Ebal United Holy Church in the seventy&rsquo;s where she was a faithful member until her illness.&nbsp; She was a Trustee, Deaconess, Vice President of the Missionary Department, Assistant Financial Secretary and worked on the kitchen committee.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>God called Bobbie home to be with him on Sunday, February 28, 2021.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>She leaves to cherish her loving memories; her children, Brian K. (Jorie) Collins of Indianapolis, IN, Michelle Collins of Hamilton, OH and Alesia J. Collins of Collins, MS; three brothers, James E. (Linda) Wheeler of Hamilton, OH, Lee Earl (Yokie) Wheeler of Collins, MS and Jerry E. Wheeler of Collins, MS; aunt, Paulette Mayes of Hamilton, OH; uncle, Joe Harold Barnes of Collins, MS; grandchildren, Brandie N. Goens, Rana Collins, Ranada White and Ryan Willis; very special friends, Mr. Lawrence Moon, Betty and Frank Arrington and Tonda Baker along with a host of other relatives and friends.</p>

Obituary

Ms. Bobbie Alberta Collins was born to Clinton and Mellie Wheeler on July 24, 1945 in Collins, Mississippi. 

 

She was a loving mother, sister, niece and grandmother.  She shared a very special bond and relationship with her loving granddaughter, Brandie Nicole Goens.

 

She moved to Hamilton, OH at the age of 18 where she later married and mothered three children.  She was employed by the City of Hamilton Board of Education where she was the first African American bus driver for over 30 years.  She joined Mt.
