Polly Williamson

Polly Williamson, 67, of Rome City, IN died Thursday, July 10, 2014 at her home. Mrs. Williamson was born on November 13, 1946 in Gunlock, KY to Archer and Mary (Shepherd) Shepherd, they preceded her in death. Living most of her lifetime in LaGrange and Noble Counties, she had worked as a floor tech at the former Shepherd of the Hill in Kendallville, IN. She loved going to garage sales, fishing and gardening. In 1993 she married Jan D. Williamson in Wolcottville, IN. Mr. Williamson preceded her in death on September 26, 2012. Surviving are five daughters and two sons-in-law, Pauline and Steve Selby of Garrett, IN, Verna Conley of Hueysville, KY, Sherry Hazlett and Ralph Geesaman of Rome City, IN, Mary and Andrew Ousley of Garrett, KY, and Cathy Batcheller and William Marshall of Rome City, IN; a son, Ronnie Conley of Rome City, IN; fifteen grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; six sisters, Shirley Minix of Salyersville, KY, Donna Johnson of Gunlock, KY, Margie Tackett of Mount Sterling, KY, Daisy Wireman of Waldo, KY, Sally Hale of Greenwich, OH, and Betty Lou Hicks of Howe, IN; and three brothers, Richard Joe Shepherd of Salyersville, KY, Wade Shepherd of Gunlock, KY, and Reggie Owen Shepherd of Gunlock, KY. A memorial visitation and service will be held from 5:00 pm until the service time at 7:00 pm on Friday, July 18, 2014 at Frurip-May Funeral Home, 309 W. Michigan St, LaGrange, IN. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

You will be missed very much Aunt Polly. I still remember when I was younger you and my Dad(Abe) having birthdays together, since it was the same day. You and Dad can share your birthdays together again now! love you!
