Joseph DiGregorio, 88, of Elizabeth, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 25, 2021. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Visitation at the Walter Johnson Funeral Home, 803 Raritan Rd. Clark, on Tuesday, March 2 from 4 - 8 pm. The Funeral begins on Wednesday at 9:00 am at the Funeral Home, thence to St. John the Apostle Church, Clark, where a Funeral Mass will be offered at 10:00 am. Final Disposition will be private. To offer condolences please visit www.walterjohnsonfh.com Mr. DiGregorio was born in Elizabeth to Domenico and Carmela (Mummolo) Di Gregorio. He proudly served his country as a Corporal in the Army. He was a lifelong resident of Elizabeth. Mr. DiGregorio was a Machine Operator at Thomas & Betts of Elizabeth for many years. For the last 10 years, he was a Limousine Driver for Gem Limousine of Edison, from which he retired. He did beautiful woodworking. He enjoyed sitting by his pond and gardening in the summer. He also enjoyed a good poker game on Friday night with his family. Mr. DiGregorio loved listening to music, dancing, traveling down south with his wife and spending time with his grandchildren. Mr. DiGregorio was predeceased this past October by his beloved wife of 68 years, Lois (Larkins) DiGregorio and his sisters, Nancy Nolasco and Tina Crosby. He is survived by his devoted children, Mark DiGregorio and his wife Lori, Jeffrey DiGregorio and his wife Melissa and Michelle Monaco and her husband Thomas; his cherished grandchildren, Mark, Michael, Brianna, Thomas, Gina, Sophia , Grace and Violet; his great grandsons, Mark and Christian; his sister Josephine DiFabio and his brother Thomas DeGregorio.
