<p>Theresa Louise (Coverty) Chase, beloved wife and best friend of the late George Chase, passed away on February 27, 2021.&nbsp; She was born on June 12, 1929.&nbsp; She was a daughter of Amadeo and Adele Coverty and grew up on Park Street in Bristol in a loving and extended Italian family.&nbsp; She graduated from Bristol schools, Feener Business School and attended Tunxis Community College. She retired from Sears and Roebuck.&nbsp; She was an avid reader and a passionate artist. Her work, which received several awards, was shown throughout the area. She loved spending time with her family especially her great grandsons who brought her great joy. Along with her husband, she enjoyed a long retirement traveling, hiking with the Bristol Senior Hiking Group, attending Lifelong Learning classes and being an active member of St. Gregory&#39;s Church. Left to cherish her memory are son Stephen and two daughters, Karen Chase and Jodie Chase, daughter-in-law Joan and son-in-law John Doran; two grandchildren and six great grandsons - Michael Chase, wife Amanda, sons Jackson, Noah and Hudson, Tara Chase Helgeson, husband Michael and sons Gabriel, Oliver and Samuel, Jessica and Andy Dragan, a brother James Coverty. She was predeceased by her sister Lois MacNamara and her son-in-law Charles Dickson.&nbsp; A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday (March 3, 2021) at 11 AM at St. Gregory the Great Church, 235 Maltby St., Bristol.&nbsp; Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery, Bristol.&nbsp; Relatives and friends may call at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, on Wednesday between 9 and 10:30 AM.&nbsp; Please visit Theresa&rsquo;s memorial web-site at www.FunkFuneralHome.com.&nbsp;<br /> &nbsp;</p>
