<p>Estella Louise Bass of Thedford passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 27, 2021, at the age of 93.</p><p><br></p><p>Estella was the loved wife of the late James Bass (1998). Together James and Estella raised their family of Marcia (Robert) Minielly, and Bradley (Brenda) Bass. </p><p><br></p><p>Estella loved her grandchildren Sheina (Todd), Alyssa (Justin), Craig, Jennifer, Laurie, Lindsay (Nolan), and great-grandchildren Connor, Brennan, Owen, Carson, Myles, Declan, Alister, Isla, Liam, and Emmett. A beaming smile was seen as she met each of the children for the first time, and continued as she was able to watch them grow. </p><p><br></p><p>Estella is predeceased by her parents Verne and Eva Tidball, brother Don and his wife Betty Tidball. </p><p><br></p><p>Estella began her working career as an operator at the telephone office before going on to teach elementary school and then returning to work for Hurontario Telephone.</p><p><br></p><p>In her spare time, Estella could be found playing euchre, crokinole, Phase 10, shuffleboard, and Aggravation. Annual trips to Florida, and Frankenmuth or family camping trips when the family was young are all special memories for the family. Estella, had many talents including, quilting, embroidery, and baking. Delicious butter tarts, chocolate chip cookies, muffins, and canning goods were all homemade treats for family and friends who popped by for a visit.</p><p><br></p><p>A private family service will take place at Knox Presbyterian Church in Thedford on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, with Rev. Dr. Christine O'Reilly officiating; interment to follow at Pinehill Cemetery.</p><p><br></p><p>Donations in Estella's name are appreciated to the Diabetes Association, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the Knox Presbyterian Benevolent Fund.</p>
