Charles Raymond Turnbull
<p><span style="font-size:16px;">Our beloved Charles (Chuck) Raymond Turnbull left this earth on February 25, 2021 at the age of 72.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">Chuck was born prematurely at Madigan Hospital in Tacoma, Washington on May 21, 1948 and weighed not quite 3 pounds. He was raised by his loving parents Jennie and William Turnbull. Chuck had a fun filled childhood, stirring up lots of trouble with his other siblings, of which he was the youngest.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">Chuck loved music and sang and played drums all through high school and later formed a band that played professionally in St. Louis. Music was at the very core of his being and gave him such joy throughout his life.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">Chuck worked for the Peninsula school district and was the janitor at Artondale elementary school for 24 plus years. He was loved by staff, teachers, and students there for his gentle kindness and sweet smile, as well as keeping their school clean and tidy.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">Chuck was preceded in death by his precious infant daughter Angela and wife Sheri. He is survived by sons Jason Turnbull (Loretta) Joshua; granddaughter Emmalou; former spouse Christine Moore; brother Gary Turnbull (Susan); sisters Karen Tilley (Dennis); Connie Fenton (Craig Arschene); Carolyn Werner (Robert, Sr.); and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">The family is indebted more than words can possibly convey to the awesome and compassionate hospice staff, family physician Vince Leverett, cardiologist Marina Jansen, and Randy Strand of Carelincs, all who helped make our dear Chuck comfortable in his last days before passing peacefully to his heavenly home where we will see him again one day.</span></p>Obituary
