JoAnn E. York
<p>JoAnn E. Longo York, 92, Altoona, passed away Friday at Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Joseph and Othelia (Cecere) Marconi. She later married William York, who preceded her in death on Oct. 28, 2002.</p> <p>She is survived by a daughter, Susan McDonald, of Salem, Mass.; a son, Daniel Longo Jr., of Altoona; three grandchildren: Cori Gilkey, Jennifer Longo, and Mark Longo; six great-grandchildren: Ashley, Alexis, Abby, Noah, Madison, and Landon; and a brother, Anthony Marconi, of Laurel, Md.</p> <p>JoAnn was a 1946 graduate of Altoona High School and later retired as a physical therapist technician at Bon Secour Hospital.</p> <p>She enjoyed exercising and Blair Senior activities.</p> <p>JoAnn was a former member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.</p> <p>At the request of the family, a private memorial service will be held at their convenience. Interment will be at Carson Valley Cemetery. Arrangements are by Santella Funeral Home.</p>Obituary
