Lucille Barbara Mitchell

Lucille Barbara Mitchell, sunrise February 11, 1934, sunset February 22, 2021. Daughter to the late Jerome and Viola Reed. Lucille was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at King Solomon Baptist Church where she was an active member. Lucille graduated from Central High School. She lived her life to the fullest with no regrets, she was an outspoken person who said what she meant and meant what she said. She loved life as a wife (Charles Mitchell), mother and friend. Her biggest joy in life was that of a loving mother to her daughter; a role she fulfilled to the greatest. She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her daughter, Jaqueline "Jackie," cousins and friends. Spring Valley Funeral Home is honored to be of service to the Mitchell family.
