God called Salvatore back home on February 24, 2021 at the age of 84. He will be forever missed by his loving wife Maria. Cherished by his dear children Franco (Frances), Tony (Barbra) and Saveria (Les). Proud nonno to Adam, Lucas, Alex, Cassandra, Filomena, and Isabella. He will be held dear in the hearts of his nieces and nephews, relatives and many friends. Scheduled visitations will take place at the DeMarco Funeral Visitation Centre (8003 Weston Rd. 905-850-9500) on Sunday February 28, 2021 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. The funeral mass will take place at St. David’s Roman Catholic Church (2601 Major Mackenzie Dr., Maple, Ontario) on Monday March 1, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. A private entombment is to follow. Now that York Region has moved to a “Red Zone”, public visitations will allow a maximum of 50 people in attendance per visitation room. All attendees must be scheduled by appointment only. We kindly remind all guests who are coming to pay their respects, to always remember to practice physical distancing and to avoid all physical contact. Please note that it is now mandatory by the Government of Ontario that all family and friends attending any type of funeral service, must be wearing a facial covering. On the day of the funeral, attendees must be scheduled. We request that only the most immediate family members join us at the Funeral Home and that others join us at the church.
