Obituary
Rocky Alan Kimble, 62, of Hopewell passed peacefully in his sleep 1/22/2021 at 5:15am at Genesis Hospice Morrison House after a very valiant three year fight with Throat Cancer. He truly lived every single day as if it was his last.
He was born January 31, 1959 in Zanesville, the oldest of 5, to the late Kenneth C. Kimble and Janet Sue Hern Kimble.
Nothing Rocky did was small, he lived fast and furiously, he did things that they only sing about in a country song. He did things most of us would be afraid to do. He definitely enjoyed his life. He had a lifelong love for riding his Harley Davidson motorcycles alongside his brother, Kenny Kimble Jr., and many beloved biker friends throughout the years. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, yard sales, flea markets and wheelin’ n’ dealin’. Friendships and family were his number one priority in life, he cherished each of them.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Deborah Kimble; son, Slade Kimble who passed August 18, 2020.
He leaves behind two sons, Seth Curry and Brandon Kimble; grandson, Blake Kimble; brothers, Keith Kimble, Kenny (Tammy Crawmer) Kimble; sister, Jamie Kimble; and his longtime girlfriend and mother of Slade, Lisa Huffman; sister-in-law, Melissa Huffman; brother-in-law, Shawn Spencer; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Larry (Shellie Palmer) Adkins, who he considered a brother; his doggies Rocki, Bubby, Sissy and Missy; and too many precious friends he considered family.
Due to Covid-19, the family has chosen Cremation.
