Martha E. Roberson nee Bell of St. Louis, MO was born on Thursday, October 4, 1934 in Cherryville, MO to Ernest James Bell and Mabel Murry Bell.  She passed away at her home at the age of 86 years, 4 months and 18 days. 

Martha grew up in Cherryville and graduated from Cherryville High School.  She married Thomas Robert Roberson on January 15, 1952 in Steelville, MO and to this union 5 children were born.  Martha had accepted the Lord as her personal Savior and she and Tom were members of Evangel Temple in Maplewood, MO.  She worked as a bakery clerk for National Super Market, Dierbergs and Schnucks until she retired.  She was a member of the union United Food and Commercial Workers.  Martha enjoyed to go shopping with her friends, especially Kay Medlock and sitting on her back deck in the spring and summer.  Most of all, Martha loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Mabel Bell; parents-in-law Clark and Della Roberson; step-father-in-law Robert Leach; husband Thomas Roberson; siblings Bill (Juanita) Bell, Steve Bell, Sue Bell and Bonnie Bowman; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Jerry Roberson, Don Roberson, Marlene (Jim) Pinson, Rosemary (Bill) Barnicle, Dorothy (Jim) Kelley and Pat Roberson; daughter Marilyn Brockschmitt; son-in-law Barry Isaac; infant grandsons Gary Collins and Joseph Amelung and infant great granddaughter Max Roberson.

She is survived by her children Michael (Doris) Roberson of St. Louis, MO, Linda Isaac of Festus, MO, Phyllis (Gary) Collins of St. Louis, MO and Lisa Fulco of Hillsboro, MO; brother Don (Pauline) Bell of Watonga, OK; brothers-in-law Jim Roberson of Mequite, TX and Carl Roberson of CA; sister-in-law Marie Roberson of CA; grandchildren Brandi, Brad, Jenni, Crissi, TJ, Brian, Sammi, Christy, Gary, Mikey, Jessi, Justin, Taylor and Sydney; 19 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation was from 11:00AM—1:00PM on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Hutson Funeral Home, Steelville, MO.  Funeral Service immediately followed at 1:00PM with Pastor Harold Maxey officiating.  Burial was at Martin Trask Cemetery in Cherryville, MO. 

All arrangements under the direction of Hutson Funeral Home, Steelville, MO.
