Ronda Dixon Stephens

Mr. Ronda Stephens, age 91, of West Jefferson passed away Tuesday morning, February 23, 2021 at Glenbridge Health & Rehab Center. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 2pm at Bald Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. John Elledge officiating. The body will lie in state on Saturday at Boone Family Funeral Home from 12-1:15pm. Mr. Stephens was born on May 23, 1929 to the late Raleigh and Holly Greer Stephens. Ronda was a member at Bald Mountain Baptist Church. He enjoyed watching football and wrestling. He was a loving father, grandfather, and will be missed by all. He is preceded in death by his wife; Edith Davis Stephens. Mr. Stephens is survived by: four sons, Graylen Stephens, of West Jefferson, Wayne Stephens better known as "Dickie" and wife, Wanda, of Millers Creek, Mark Stephens, of West Jefferson and Keith Stephens of Texas; two daughters, Revonda Matheson and husband, Bradley, of Mouth of Wilson, VA and Carolyn, of Kernersville; a sister, Dicia Houck, of West Jefferson; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.
