<p align="center"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>Ramon &ldquo;Raymond&rdquo; Fernando Herrera, Jr.<br /> January 21, 1970 &ndash; February 1, 2021</strong></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 18px; font-family: georgia, serif;">Ramon &ldquo;Raymond&rdquo; Fernando Herrera, Jr., 51, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on the 1st day of February, 2021.&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 18px; font-family: georgia, serif;">Born January 21,1970 to Ramon and Bertha Herrera.&nbsp; He was an avid reader.&nbsp; A devout Catholic and deeply spiritual man.&nbsp; Raymond, graduated in 1988 from J.W. Nixon High School.&nbsp; He attended and graduated from St. Mary&rsquo;s University in 1992. He was an English teacher and was a proud member of the Toro faculty.&nbsp; Raymond taught at Cigarroa High School for 27 of the 29 years he dedicated to teaching. Raymond always lent a helping hand to those in need. He was a devout member of the Nocturnal Adoration Society at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church.&nbsp; He enjoyed physical activity and was an avid swimmer.&nbsp; Raymond will be deeply missed by family friends.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 18px; font-family: georgia, serif;">He was preceded in death by his father, Ramon F. Herrera, Sr.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 18px; font-family: georgia, serif;">Left to cherish his memory are: His mother, Bertha G. Herrera, siblings: Arturo (Janine) Herrera, Bertha Iris (Willi) Lopez, Ingrid Herrera, Barbara I. (Peter) Arredondo, Anna Laura (Remigio) Garza and Roberto Gerardo (Liz) Herrera.</span></p> <p><em><strong><span style="font-size: 18px; font-family: georgia, serif;">The family will receive condolences on Friday, February 26, 2021 from 4 until 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral &amp; Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd., where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will be held at 7 p.m.</span></strong></em></p> <p><em><strong><span style="font-size: 18px; font-family: georgia, serif;">Funeral Services will be held on Saturday morning, February 27, 2021 departing at 8:40 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to San Martin de Porres Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m.</span></strong></em></p> <p><em><strong><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><span style="font-size:18px;">Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.</span></span></strong></em></p> <p><span style="font-size: 18px; font-family: georgia, serif;">Pallbearers will be: David M. Gonzales, Roberto G. Ramon “Raymond” Fernando Herrera, Jr.
January 21, 1970 – February 1, 2021

Ramon “Raymond” Fernando Herrera, Jr., 51, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on the 1st day of February, 2021. 

Born January 21,1970 to Ramon and Bertha Herrera.  He was an avid reader.  A devout Catholic and deeply spiritual man.  Raymond, graduated in 1988 from J.W. Nixon High School.  He attended and graduated from St. Mary’s University in 1992. He was an English teacher and was a proud member of the Toro faculty.  Raymond taught at Cigarroa High School for 27 of the 29 years he dedicated to teaching. Raymond always lent a helping hand to those in need.
