Irene Minnie Gillespie

June 8, 1926 – February 18, 2021

Irene Minnie Gillespie (Sutherland) passed away peacefully in her sleep February 18, 2021, at the age of 94..

Irene is survived by her daughters; Shirley (Lyle), Lynn, Donna and Fran, 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. 

Irene was predeceased by her husband Gordon, son Garry and granddaughter Angela.

Irene was very active in the community and was involved in the Carnwood Community Club and the 4H Club. She enjoyed her farm life, gardening and was a beautiful seamstress.  She was a great lady and will be dearly missed by family and friends.

No formal service will be held.  The family will gather on her birthday at Carnwood Cemetery.
