Karen J Morris

Karen Jean Morris was born in Columbus , Ohio, to Alfred and betty Morris. Karen Transitioned on Novemeber 11, 2015. She was predeceased by both her patrents and loving nephew Steven T. "Buzzy" Goodman. As a child sher traveled the world with her military family. Upon her father's retirement, theyt relocated to Plainfield, to be near her loving family members(The Glovers). She graduated from Vicenza America High School in Vicenza Italy. She then attended Wrigh6t State university, Dayton , Ohio, and Miami University, Oxford Ohio. Where she obtained a degree in Social Work. After College she was employed by the Union County Depasrtment of Human Social Services, where she worked her entire career. Karen was a member of the YWCA Board of Directors in Plainfield, NJ. Karen was also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. She was an avid reader, who enjoyed movies, especially sci-fi, who loved game shows daily, especially Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. She enjoyed collecting Jewelry and antiques. Karen was able to communicate with anybody on any subject because she had a wealth of knowledge. She also had a list of jokes that no one thought was funny, but her. Her friends were always by her bedside QVC, HSN, and Shop NBC. She is survived by her devoted sister and caretaker throughout her long illness Eva Goodman, her dedicated loving brother Keith B. Morris Sr.(Tammy) of Edison, NJ her sister Diana Copeland of Columbus Ohio, 2 nephews Keith Jr. and Paul Madlock.
