Arlen Earl Essary

<p>Arlen Earl Essary, age 64 of Brooklyn, MS, passed away on Friday, February 12, 2021.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /> He was a native of Brooklyn, MS and graduated from F.C.A.H.S. in the class of 1975, with so many memories and accomplishments.<br /> Arlen was a SSgt in the United States Air Force for more than 17 years of service.&nbsp;&nbsp;He was a tanker hauler for the now retired SR-71 Blackbird, which he traveled the world with over the years.&nbsp;&nbsp;He was assigned to 9th OMS with many great people.&nbsp;&nbsp;After which, he moved to Transportation where they then trained more service members with all of his knowledge at Beale AFB in California.<br /> He was preceded in death by his parents, Grady Earl Essary and Josie Vermel Morrow Essary; his brother, Gerald Wayne Essary, Sr.; his sister, Linda Joyce Essary Hill; and his nephew, Jason Essary.<br /> Arlen is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Catherine Lynn Mullins Essary; his daughter, Rebecca Lynn Essary Helton (James); his brother, Phillip Essary (Linda); his sister, Ellen Wigley; his grandchildren, Sierrah Lynn Helton and Arian Gabriel Helton; his nephews, Gerald Essary (Ginger) and Clay Essary (Melissa); his 2 nieces, Jennifer Essary Edwards (Trell) and Julie Essary; and multiple great nieces and nephews that he was like a grandfather to as well, Gabby, Grace, Jacob, Kyle, Taylor, Tyler, Noah, Maddie, Lexi, and Hunter.<br /> He loved to go fishing along with teaching everyone the art of laughter.&nbsp;&nbsp;He wanted to make sure we all had a great time playing cards, dominoes, cooking, and telling so many family famous stories.<br /> So at the end of the day, remember him with: &ldquo;Come back when you can&rsquo;t stay as long&rdquo;, &ldquo;Hasta LaVista&rdquo;, and &ldquo;Glad you got to see me.&rdquo;<br /> RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Ocean Springs, is serving the family.&nbsp;&nbsp;An online obituary may be viewed at www.riemannfamily.com<br /> <br /> &nbsp;</p>
