<p><br /> <br /> Denita Hix 45 of Cornelia Ga passed away February 8th 2021.<br /> <br /> She is survived by her son Joseph Hix, of Alto, her&nbsp;mother Claudia (June) Cochran, of Cornelia GA, and her father Jerry Elmore. Her husband Jeff Hix of Alto, GA, Brothers Jerry Elmore, Covington Ga<br /> Scott Elmore, Atlanta, Sam Elmore, Winder Ga, sister Margaret Elmore of Nebraska.<br /> <br /> She is also survived by several Cousins , Aunts, Uncle, and more relatives.<br /> <br /> Denita was loved dearly by all her family, and everyone that met her. Denita was energetic, funny and artistic . I met Denita when she and Jeff moved to Wynn Lake. Denita was one-of-a-kind. I will always remember the fun we had and all the laughs.

Denita was my neighbor and friend she had a hand in fixing me up with another neighbor who is now my wife.10 years ago she made me a chocolate heart to give on Valentine’s Day, and from that day on I have been thankful for Denita and her kindness.
