Dedrick Derrick Castleberry Palm Springs, California Obituary

Dedrick Derrick Castleberry

On Monday, February 8, 2021, Dedrick Derrick Castleberry, loving husband and father of five children, sadly passed away at the age of 47. Dedrick was born on August 26, 1973 in Indio, CA to Charles Castleberry and Mary Walker. Dedrick was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family and friends meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. With that in mind, he joined the Laborers International Union of North America in 2006 through which he acquired and developed many skills, making it possible for him to achieve professional advancement and provide better lives for himself and all those touched by his kindness. On March 5, 2006, he married Heather Maruffo (Raymond). He was unendingly proud of how they raised four sons, Paul, Dedrick (Derrick), Johnathan and Willie, one daughter, Genevieve, as well as one grandchild, Levi and always tried his best to support them. He is survived by his wife Heather, his five children, his parents, brothers (Charles and Octavian) and sisters (Eleanor, Tina, Jacquenetta, Charletta and Devin), as well as an abundance of cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and all of the friends made along the way he considered his second family, whose lives were endlessly enriched by him. Dedrick's memories will forever be cherished and his family and friends will miss him more than words can say. He will be laid to rest on March 26, 2021 in Coachella, CA.
