Scott Alan Roberts, 65, of Hopkins (formerly of Ontario), Michigan was called home on Friday, February 12th, 2021. He was born to Beverly and Pauline (Strowger) Roberts on December 18th, 1955. Scott was born the youngest of four children. He served in the United States Navy from 1974-1976. He is married to his best friend, Janice Roberts. In his free time, Scott loved to spend time with his family and friends, especially his 7 year old grandson Jackson Roberts, riding quads and teaching him new things. He loved people and was always the life of the party. He was good for a laugh, or good to laugh at with his crazy ways. He loved to fish. He was good at everything he did and was always the first one to help when asked. He was a kind and loving man. Scott is survived by his beloved wife Janice (Hilaski) Roberts, his children Gina, Joshua (Hannah), Mike (Amanda) , Jeremy (Jessica), Mikey, and Gregory; 8 wonderful grand children; his parents Beverly and Pauline; his siblings Norm (Linda) Roberts, Pam (Bart) Nolff, and Jeff (Dorothea) Roberts; and 2 nieces and 1 nephew. Scott was preceded in death by his Grandpa Ernest Roberts. The family would like to give a special thanks to Wings of Hope Hospice, especially Jenna, Joy and Glen. Thank you. Arrangements have been entrusted to Simply Cremations in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Per Scotts wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
