A great friend and fellow classmate at Bradley Central high school. He was also a great Christian brother. I loved reading his Facebook posts. Him and his wife Peggy have been longtime friends and he will be greatly missed by his family and friends. RIP Gene

I feel privileged to have known such a good man--a loving husband to Peggy, and father to Gina, Renaugia, and Seth. Gene was a testament to a life well-lived. He will be missed by all who knew him.
