East Cobleskill - Clayton R. Willman, 82, of East Cobleskill passed away on Friday, February 12, 2021, at the Van Rensselaer Manor Nursing Home.

He was born on October 3, 1938, in Central Bridge, NY and was the son of the late Merwin and Minnie (Clapper) Willman.

Upon graduating from high school, Clayton enlisted in the United State Army and served his country from 1958 until receiving an honorable discharge in 1961.  Throughout his life, he enjoyed small engine repair, woodworking, long car rides, and spending time with his family.

He is predeceased by three brothers; Leland, Donald, Charles, and one sister; Nancy Willman.

Clayton is survived by brothers Edward Willman and Richard Willman, his daughters; Cindi Willman, Dawn Surnear and Lori Willman, his son-in laws; Allen Dibble, Mike Surnear, John Dibble, Stephen Minnich and Maylon Proctor Jr., his Grandchildren; Joe Proctor and Nicole Reid-Proctor, Brian Proctor, Paul Minnich and Jess Lindsey, Scott Minnich, Marissa Dibble and Alicia Van Auken, and Dillon Dibble, his Great Grandchildren; Addelyn Proctor, Carter Proctor, and Dagan Dibble, and also a special family member, Phil Minnich.

A graveside service with Military Honors will be held at 11AM on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Cobleskill Rural Cemetery, Hillview Section.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion, Fred L. Stilson Post #57, PO Box 252, Cobleskill, NY  12043.
