Richard A. Casper Obituary

Richard A. Casper passed away on Monday, February 8, 2021. He was 75 years of age and a resident of Middlebury Center, Pennsylvania where he built his retirement home with the help of family and friends. Richard loved to fish, deer hunt and garden and was a true Philadelphia Eagles fan who was so proud when his favorite team won the Super Bowl in 2018. Over the years he loved travelling with his beloved wife and dear friends. He treasured going on family vacations to Canada and family camping trips. Richard spent his whole life working in carpentry and owned his own carpentry business. Many wonderful hours were spent taking rides with his son on his Harley. He was extremely proud of his children especially his three granddaughters. Richard was the beloved husband for 49 years of the late Sarah A. Casper (Nee: Sheppard), the loving father of Kimberly A. Beveridge and her husband Francis and Richard F. Casper. He was the proud Pop-Pop of Kelli, Allison and Kaitlyn and is survived by his brother Ronald Casper. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Naomi W. Casper and siblings Charles Casper and Cheryl Smith. Due to the pandemic his family has chosen to do a private viewing and funeral service at Campbell and Thomas Funeral Home with interment following at George Washington Memorial Park. Donations in his memory to the FOP Survivor’s Fund, C/o FOP Lodge #5, 11630 Caroline Road, Philadelphia, PA 19154 would be appreciated by his family.
