<p><span style="font-size:24px;"><strong>McCauley, James Jr.</strong>- 74, of Mechanicsville, VA passed away, Friday, February 12, 2021. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 49 years, Serena McCauley, a son, Michael McCauley, a sister, Betty Adkins, and his parents, Ethel and James McCauley, Sr. James is survived by his daughters, Karen Miller (Scott) and Janet Hudson (Glen); 8 grandchildren, Scott Miller Jr. (Julianna), Brittney Miller, Channon Miller, Cory Miller, Amanda Jones (Justin), Stephen Fox (Gia), &nbsp;Zachary Hudson, and Katherine Hudson; 2 great-grandsons, Benjamin and Dominic; brother, Joe McCauley (Cathy); his sisters, Nancy Osby and Frances Hutchinson; and his fur baby Bear. James proudly served his country in the US Air Force for 4 years and then in the Air Guard for another 30 years. In his younger days he volunteered for Hanover CO. 7. He loved and collected model trains. He enjoyed spoiling his dogs, and he cherished his time with his family. The family will hold a memorial service at a later date pending Covid. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the Parkinson&rsquo;s foundation or a charity of your choice.</span></p>
