<p>On Friday, February 12, 2021, Emily Nicole Bethancourt, loving mother, daughter and sister, passed away at the age of 26. Emily was born on August 13,1994 to Marsha and Paul Bethancourt. Emily had two beautiful children, Micaiah and Aubrey.</p> <p>Emily loved her friends and family fiercely. She was always positive, encouraging and faithful. She was proud of her siblings and bragged about them to everyone. She had a generous heart; Emily would give you the shirt off of her back if she thought you needed it. Emily was love. She loved and wanted to be loved. She never wavered from that.</p> <p>Emily is preceded in death by Aubrey’s father, Jesse. She is survived by her parents, Marsha (Bruce) and Paul (Christine), her siblings, Elizabeth, Michelle, Paul, Matthew, her step-brother Daniel, her children, Micaiah and Aubrey and her fiancé, Erik. Receiving of Friends and Family will be held on Saturday, February 20th, 2021 from 4-6pm at Tennessee Avenue Baptist Church located at 1324 Tennessee Avenue in Knoxville, with a service to follow. The family requests that those attending wear a mask. In lieu of flowers, donations for the start of college funds for Micaiah and Aubrey would be appreciated. Donations can be made at ugift529.com.
