Peter Stonechild

Peter was a beloved brother, uncle, mosom, chapan and a friend to many and everyone has their special memory of him. Peter was diagnosed with Polio at the age of 2 but that never stopped him from wanting to be # 1, especially at the July 1st foot races which he always participated in when he was a child, to being first in line to get his number #1 at the powwow registration. Peter was a social person who always greeted everyone and struck up conversations wherever he was whether is was at the store or community events. Peter was very sociable and well liked, he will be dearly missed.
He is predeceased by:  his parents, Ida (1992) and Edward (2015) Stonechild; his brothers, Richard Stonechild and Eric Stonechild.
     Peter is survived by:  his siblings, Brian (Janet) MacDonald, Joe (Brenda) Stonechild, Keith (Rema) Stick, Cameron Muskego, Harold (Brenda) Cardinal, Garnet Smith, Emilia Littlewolfe, Mary Stonechild, Teresa Stonechild, Anne Stonechild, Mavis Smith, Bonnie Smith and Vivian Smith; and his many nieces nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
