Sandy L. Kaisler Obituary

Sandy L. Kaisler (nee Peebles) Sandy, of Hartford, WI, unexpectedly passed away from a hemorrhagic stroke at the age of 78 years old, on Friday, February 12th, 2021. She was surrounded by her loving family at home when she peacefully left us to go to heaven to be received into her Heavenly Father’s arms. Sandy was born in Durand, WI, to Leon and Mary Peebles. She was preceded in death by her parents. She married the love of her life, John Kaisler, on September 12th, 1964 and they created many happy memories together. Sandy was an AMAZING homemaker and mom (second mom to some), caring sister and wonderful friend. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, traveling, shopping and decorating. She was a mover and a shaker, and was not one to sit still. She and John rehabed many duplexes and a large apartment building, and always had a project she was working on. More than anything, she was our family’s rock. She was a caregiver and confidant. She made friends wherever she went. It is impossible to describe this selfless angel in just a few short words. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, John, daughter Colleen (Bob) Tarantino, number one son David Kaisler, her grandchildren Nicholas and Nathan Kaisler, her fur grandkids Leo, Sophia, Stella and Scarlett, her sisters Sharon (Ed) Frary, Cheryl Komro and brothers Marshall (Diane) Peebles, Darrel Peebles, nephew Bryan Jenders (Danielle) and their family Cade and Reed; nephew Bobby Jenders (Jenny) and their family Ben and Alex, and nephew Michael Jenders. Sandy will be missed by many other family members and friends, especially her kindergarten friend Sheila Bartelt and neighbor Nancy Miller. Too well loved to ever be forgotten. A Celebration of Eternal Life for Sandy will be held on Friday, February 19th, at CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1875 N. Calhoun Road, Brookfield, WI. A visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by a service at 12:00 PM. A procession to Highland Memorial Park will take place at 1:00 PM, with lunch to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the North Woods Animal Shelter located in Iron River, Michigan or Horizon Hospice.
