Bruce S. Hendrick Glenolden, Pennsylvania Obituary

Bruce S. Hendrick

On February 12th, Bruce Scott Hendrick, loving father, grandfather, sibling, and friend passed away at home at the age of 65. Born to Leon and Delores Hendrick of Ridley Park, PA, Bruce went on to become a welder for Delmarva Power. During his time there, he developed many friendships and met the love of his life, his predeceased wife, Patty. He is remembered by many loved ones, including his two daughters and sons-in-law: JoDe and Matt Beitler of Media, PA, and Jill and Marcus Villecco of Jackson, NJ; two stepchildren and their spouses: Jason and Chrissy Rutkowski of Newark, DE, and Angela and Frank Radel of Bear, DE; and nine Grandchildren: Zayne, Boe, Vince, Bryce, Dray, Marissa, Taylor, Jason, and Aubree. Also surviving are his beloved sister, Sandy Hendrick, brother and sister-in-law Lance and Janice Hendrick, and brother and sister-in-law Brian and Jill Hendrick; and nieces and nephews Cody, Jason, and Kelsey. Although Bruce’s last ten years compromised his body, they did not compromise his spirit. Bruce was always positive and remained a quiet but strong fighter. He loved being surrounded by family, playing and watching golf, and cheering on Philadelphia sports teams. A memorial service is being postponed.
