<p><strong>PITTSFIELD- Mr. Robert J. &ldquo;Bob&rdquo; Courchesne, 85, of Pittsfield, passed away unexpectedly on February 12, 2021 at the Frisbie Memorial Hospital after a period of declining health.</strong></p> <p><strong>Born in Manchester, Bob was the son of the late Henry and Corrine (Belanger) Courchesne.&nbsp; He was raised and educated in Pittsfield and resided there for most of his life.&nbsp; He enlisted in the United States Navy and proudly served his country from 1956-1960.</strong></p> <p><strong>Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a weaver for the Pittsfield Weaving Company.&nbsp; In earlier years, he enjoyed fishing and snowmobiling.&nbsp; More recently, he loved woodworking and traveling with his wife.</strong></p> <p><strong>He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Claire L. (Labonte) Courchesne; his two daughters, Linda L. Rowell and Carol A. Cassin and her husband Carl all of Pittsfield; five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; and his brother, Alfred Courchene and his wife Elaine of Pittsfield.</strong></p> <p><strong>A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 19th at 2 P.M. in the Still Oaks Funeral &amp; Memorial Home 1217 Suncook Valley Highway in Epsom.&nbsp; Due to current restrictions, capacity is limited to 50 people and all attendees must wear face-coverings and adhere to social distancing as directed.&nbsp; Burial will take place in the spring at Floral Park Cemetery.&nbsp; To share a memory or offer a condolence, please visit www.stilloaks.com</strong></p>

PITTSFIELD- Mr. Robert J. “Bob” Courchesne, 85, of Pittsfield, passed away unexpectedly on February 12, 2021 at the Frisbie Memorial Hospital after a period of declining health.

Born in Manchester, Bob was the son of the late Henry and Corrine (Belanger) Courchesne.  He was raised and educated in Pittsfield and resided there for most of his life.  He enlisted in the United States Navy and proudly served his country from 1956-1960.
