<p> EUNICE – It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that the family of Jacob Todd Vige` announces his death on Friday, February 12, 2021 at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans surrounded by his mother, granny, and nanny Sue. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 2:00 pm on Friday, February 19, 2021 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery with Father Hampton Davis, Celebrant.</p> <p> Jacob entertained his family with his quick wit and one liners. He was an expert in playing Disney trivia , loved watching movies and enjoyed fishing. But most of all he loved being with his family and friends and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.</p> <p> Jacob is survived by his mother, Angelle Manuel and husband, Hayward of Eunice; his father Bernard Vige` of Eunice; siblings, Andre Vige` and wife, Lindsey of Sherman, TX, Jared Vige` and wife, Rachel of Youngsville, Jeff Manuel and Summer of Lafayette, Rhett Manuel and wife, Kaitie of Eunice, Justin Vige`, Michael Vige` and Madison Vige`; his grandmothers, Sharon Fontenot, and Lois Vige` both of Eunice; godfather, Tommy Fontenot Jr. and wife, Gwen of Eunice. Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.</p> <p> He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Tommy Fontenot, and Shirley Vige`; and an uncle, Randy Fontenot.</p> <p> At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Thursday, February 18th from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm and again on Friday, February 19th from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon Chuck Ortego will recite a Rosary at 6:30 pm on Thursday.</p> <p> Pallbearers will be Coach Scott Phillips, Kurt Sittig, Jed Joubert, Garrett Daville, Andre Vige’ and Cameron Belfour.</p> <p> Family and friends may view this obituary and sign the guestbook at www.ardoinfuneralhomes.com</p> <p>Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Eunice, 1301 West Laurel Ave, (337)457.3371 is in charge of arrangements.</p>November 3, 1986 - February 12, 202111/03/198602/12/2021
