Stanley W. Perkins

Stanley W. Perkins, 65, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away at his residence on February 8, 2021.

Stanley was born on August 20, 1955 in Franklin, Indiana, to the late Clarence and Irene (Wright) Perkins.

Stanley worked for GM/Chevrolet and also as a delivery driver for Brad’s Furniture. Stanley loved tennis and played in the band at school. He played the harmonica and the drums. He enjoyed the outdoors and found joy in fossil hunting. Stanley also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and will be dearly missed.

Stanley is survived by his two children, Cameron Perkins of Indianapolis, Indiana and Emily Perkins of Martinsville, Indiana, and his sister, Janet Perkins of Indianapolis, Indiana. 

Stanley was preceded in death by his wife, Leanne Perkins, and his parents, Clarence and Irene.

A celebration of life memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 2:30pm at Jessen Funeral Home ~ Franklin Chapel with visitation from 2:00pm until the service hour. Stanley will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, Indiana. 

Per the Indiana State Governor, Eric Holcomb, and the Indiana State Department of Health's mandate, social distancing regulations are required with guests maintaining a minimum of 6 feet apart from one another. Masks are mandatory and are to be worn at all times. No food is permitted at this time.
