John Anthony Volpe Obituary

John Anthony Volpe passed away suddenly on Monday, February 8,2021, at his residence in Phoenixville, PA. He was 43. John joined the military July 1995, after graduating from Upper Merion High School in King of Prussia, PA. He served for almost four years in the Army and was honorably discharged in December 1998. He then went on to attend Pennco Tech in Bucks County for HVAC, graduating in 2003. John had a passion for life and a heart of gold. His family was his true joy in life and sports was a close second. There was not a Philadelphia sports team that he did not watch. He was a virtual encyclopedia as there were no sports questions he could not answer, especially when it came to his favorite teams. John never lost an arm-wrestling match and he let you know it. He had a quick wit, an infectious smile, and a kind and compassionate spirit. His hugs were meaningful and filled with love. Born in Sunbury, PA on July 6, 1977, he was a son of Linda M. (Kimsel) Volpe and the late John Leonard Volpe. Surviving in addition to his mother is his wife, Bambi L. (Ross) Volpe; two sons, John T. Volpe and Vincent A. Volpe; a daughter, Nicholle M. (Michael) Volpe; a granddaughter, Cambrie Jewel Henderson; sister, Christina Volpe and her daughter, Willow; half-sister, Marina Volpe; Poppop to his children, Howard Richardson; mother-in-law, Jackie Ross; two brothers-in-law, Robert Ross and Jason (Andrea) Ross; two aunts, Tina Jordan and Lisa Llewellyn; and other aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Bob Ross; and a nephew, Christian. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA on Saturday, February 13, 2021 from 1 to 3:00 pm. Masks and social distancing are required. A private Funeral Service with military honors will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2021. In lieu of flowers, any donations to the family would be sincerely appreciated: either to Linda Volpe or deposited to: American Heritage Federal Credit Union - Volpe Family, account #1090088000060.
