Carlita Marengo Roman, age 89 of Bridgeport, returned to the Loving Arms of the Lord on Monday, Feb. 8, 2021 at Bridgeport Hospital. She was born in Lares, Puerto Rico; daughter of Antonio Marengo and Inocencia Roman prior to relocating to the Bridgeport area many years ago. Carlita is the loving mother of Angel Noel Ruiz, Emely Gonzalez, Luis Galarza, Cesar David Galarza, Eroilda Galarza, Sigfredo Galarza, Carlos Galarza, Irma Acevedo, Olga Galarza and Francisco Ruiz; the sister of Rafael and Alipio Marengo; and grandmother of 22 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Jorge Wilson Ruiz. Friends are invited to attend Calling Hours on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home) 426 E.
