<p>Opelousas &ndash; A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Helen Boss on Thursday, February 11, 2021, at 2:00 p.m.&nbsp;in the St. Landry Catholic Church in Opelousas. Monsignor Russell Harrington&nbsp;will celebrate the mass. Rite of Committal will follow at Bellevue Memorial Park in Opelousas.</p> <p>Helen entered into eternal rest on February 9, 2021 at the age of 79, at her residence in Opelousas surrounded by her loving family.</p> <p>Helen cherished time spent with her family and friends; as they were very important to her. She enjoyed going to her Rosary group, Pokeno group and going camping. Most of all she was dedicated to her &ldquo;girls&rdquo;, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; all they needed to do was call and MaMa came running. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.</p> <p>She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Taylor (Ronnie) of Opelousas, Melinda Labbe (Ted) of Opelousas; brothers, Ellis Noel (Laura) and Felix Noel; sister-in-law, Anna Lee Noel; 3 grandchildren, Shelly Johnson, Amanda Menard, Brandon Taylor; and 6 great-grandchildren.</p> <p>She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Melvin &ldquo;Boone&rdquo; Boss; parents, Wilsey Noel and Lena Mae Noel; grandson, Seth Labbe; brother Ashton Noel; and sister-in-law, Millie Noel.</p> <p>Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas. The rosary will be recited at 11:00 a.m. by Deacon Dwayne Joubert.</p> <p>Words of Comfort to the family may be expressed at www.sibillefuneralhomes.com. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas.</p>
