<p>MCMILLAN, Patricia<br /> (nee Monaghan)<br /> 1955 &ndash; 2021</p> <p>At home, surrounded by her loving family, Patricia Florence was peacefully called to God on February 4th, 2021.</p> <p>Predeceased by her parents Roy Monaghan and Mona (Berthel).&nbsp; Patricia was a devoted wife to Randall Charles for 45 years. Patricia was loving mother to Gregory (Emma), Nadine, Nicholas, Shawna-Maria (Travis), Benjamin (Megan), Anthony (Kym), Lukas, Brendan, Augustine and Julianna.&nbsp; Pat was an adoring grandmother to Logan, Liam, Finn, Noah, Mary Claire, Fiona, Jack and Declan.</p> <p>A heartfelt appreciation to all of Patricia&rsquo;s brothers and sisters - Mary Jane Stinson (Lyle), Kathleen Monaghan, Dorothy Smith (Erin), Rose Mary Hopewell, Joanne Watson (Zachary), Roy Monaghan, Kevin Monaghan&nbsp;and Fr. Gerard Monaghan for their immense generosity and support. Patricia will be missed by twenty- one nieces and nephews. A special thanks for Mary Jane, Lyle and Gerianne Stinson for opening their hearts and lives to Patricia and our family.</p> <p>Our family would like to thank Dr Leiva and the nurses from SE Health for the wonderful homecare this past year, as well as the St. Vincent Hospital 5 North nurses and Dr Raymond&nbsp;for their dedication and care for four years. &nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Please continue to check obituaries.basicfunerals.ca for updates to service details following the return to the Covid-19 framework on Tuesday February 16, 2021.</strong></p> <p><strong><em>In light of the announcement that we will be moving to Orange with the Framework on Tuesday February 16 2021, restrictions are as follows:</em></strong></p> <p><strong><em>Capacity of the Hope Cemetery facilities allow&nbsp;for 25 people at a time. Please ensure you have been in contact with the family to secure a timeslot.</em></strong></p> <p><strong><em>Capacity for Saint Patrick Basilica is capped at 30%, please note there will be staff at the door collecting contact information.</em></strong></p> <p>Private visitation for family to take place on Wednesday February 17, 2021 from 2-4pm at Hope Cemetery Chapel (4660 Bank Street, Ottawa). The Funeral Mass&nbsp;to celebrate Patricia&rsquo;s life will take place on Thursday February 18, 2021 from 2:30-3:30pm, with Rosary and prayers starting at 1:30pm&nbsp;at St Patrick&#39;s Basilica (220 Kent Street, Ottawa).&nbsp;A Memorial Mass and burial will take place for Patricia in the spring.</p> <p>Pat was an avid gardener and loved flowers. Fresh flowers or potted flowers can be sent to&nbsp;the visitation at Hope Cemetery&nbsp;Chapel in Ottawa for February 17, 2021.</p> <p>Patricia&rsquo;s Catholic faith was especially important in her life. 1955 – 2021

At home, surrounded by her loving family, Patricia Florence was peacefully called to God on February 4th, 2021.

Predeceased by her parents Roy Monaghan and Mona (Berthel).  Patricia was a devoted wife to Randall Charles for 45 years.
