It is with profound sadness that the family of Donald "Don" Sims of Pierceland, SK, announce his passing on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at the age of 74 years. Don is lovingly survived by his wife of 50 years: Nancy Sims; three children: Kimberley McRae, Robert (Tracey) Sims, James (Valerie) Sims; seven grandchildren: Arielle McRae (Cody Beck), Jocelyn McRae, Kaybrie McRae, Levi McRae, Meikah Sims, Ashton Sims, MacKenzie Sims; two great grandchildren: Anistyn, Ember; brother: Mike (Ellen) Sims; three sisters: Helen Sims, Gladys (Dan) MacDonald, Susan Murray; two brothers-in-law: Dyrick (Germaine) McDermott, Bob Charlton. Don was predeceased by his parents: Robert & Gladys Sims; step-father: Jack McNaughton; two sisters: Barbara McDermott, Gwen Charlton; parents-in-law: Robert & Maddy Smart; brother-in-law: Gerald Croft; two sisters-in-law: Catherine Smart, Linda Smart.
