JOHNSON, Denice Lynn – of Mt. Morris, age 68, died Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at her residence. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, February 13, 2021 at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home. Chaplain Todd Regester officiating. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Saturday, February 13, 2021 from 10:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, Michigan. Memorial contributions can be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Following Covid-19 and government regulations, only 25 people are allowed in our chapel at one time, and masks are required. Thank you for your understanding. Denice was born May 6, 1952 in Sarnia, Canada to the late Marvin and Vivian (Waite) Pearson. She grew up in Clio, Michigan and attended Mt. Morris High School. On November 1, 1969 she married Lynn Johnson in Flint, Michigan. Denice was a member of the Mt. Hope Methodist Church, Eastside Senior Center, and the Clio Eagles Aerie # 3609. She enjoyed house cleaning, bingo, and canoeing. Denice and her husband loved to travel all over the country. She also enjoyed meeting her husband every day for lunch where he would tell her she was the best and most beautiful to him every day. The family would like to give a special “Thank You” to McLaren Hospice and especially to Jaina, Sara, Michelle, and Todd. Surviving are: Husband of 51 years, Lynn Johnson; Siblings, Laurie (Bill), Janine (Les), Wayne; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
