Deloris Violet Noble Longview, Washington Obituary

Deloris Violet Noble

Deloris Noble (maiden Hudson; formerly Nelson) was my grandmother. She helped care for me as an infant and toddler, and was a very loving person. I always enjoyed visiting her, going to the beach and sometimes clam digging, and all the delicious snacks and meals she would make. Grandma hands down made the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever had! Grandma and I shared countless birthday celebrations together over the years, as ours are only one day apart. I have lots of photos to reflect back on those special occasions, it’s a fun memory how we would share a cake, with each of us getting one half decorated differently for each of us. Grandma had an exceptionally sharp mind too, and easily recounted fun stories from my childhood and about other family members as well. She loved entertaining and hosting Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter. Some of my most fond memories come from those times. Grandma was a very loving and thoughtful person, and I'm blessed to have had her in my life as my grandmother. She is thought of often and greatly missed, and I am so thankful to have so many fond memories of her. Written by Deloris’ “Superstar” Tom (Thomson Kent Heinrichs III)
