Espanopoulos</p> <p>Fell asleep in the Lord on Monday, February 1, 2021, after a brief illness.&nbsp; He is survived by his beloved wife Sophia (Recachinas) Espanopoulos.&nbsp; He leaves to mourn his brothers-in-law, Dion A. (Laura), Andrew A. (Sophie), Rev. Demetrios A. (Presvytera Eleftheria), Recachinas, and his sister-in-law, Christina Plotas.</p> <p>He is also survived by his nephews Panagiotis (Alison) Plotas, Anastasios A., Anastasios D., Emmanuel D. Recachinas, and his nieces Erene Cook (Ben) and Katerina Pergola (Dan). His eight great-nieces and great-nephews will also cherish his memory.</p> <p>Services will be held at the Saint Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, commencing at 9 A.M. with the viewing and the funeral service at 10:00 A.M. Burial will take place at the Gate of Heaven in Silver Spring, MD.&nbsp; Donations in his memory may be made to the Saint Sophia Cathedral, 2815 36th St., N.W., Washington, D.C. 20007.</p> <p>MAY HIS MEMORY BE ETERNAL.</p>

Evangelos P. Espanopoulos

Fell asleep in the Lord on Monday, February 1, 2021, after a brief illness.  He is survived by his beloved wife Sophia (Recachinas) Espanopoulos.  He leaves to mourn his brothers-in-law, Dion A. (Laura), Andrew A. (Sophie), Rev. Demetrios A. (Presvytera Eleftheria), Recachinas, and his sister-in-law, Christina Plotas.
