“Don’t Grieve For Me, For Now I Am Free, I Took His Hand, When I Heard Him Call, I Turned My Back, And Left It All.” Marco A. Fraioli, nearing 73 years of age, living at 30 Ehrbar Avenue, Mount Vernon, NY 10552, died peacefully on February 1, 2021 at Calvary Hospital in the Bronx where he had been made comfortable for the last weeks of his life. Born in Roccasecca, Italy on February 7, 1948, was a son of the late Antonio and Innocenzia Fraioli. He came to America in 1955 at the age of 7 years old along with his parents and two older sisters. They settled in the Bronx making a new life for themselves. A graduate of Evander Childs High School, he subsequently educated himself to work efficiently in the stock market. He landed a job with Paine Weber Jackson Curtis, Broad Street, NY in 1977 under the direction of Charles Smithers II. Marco continued to work for the company as it made transition to UBS Financial Service Associate, 299 Park Avenue, NY. He retired in 2015 from UBS but still remained connected with the Smithers Family who Marco is indebted to for their kindness and generosity. Marco is survived by two sisters; Mrs. Amerigo (Antonietta) Rea and Mrs. John (Rocca) Nardine. Marco is preceded by: Brother Carmine Fraioli married to Maria; Sisters: Mrs. Carmela (Bernardo) Ricci; Mrs. Vincenza (Giuseppe) Tedeschi; Mrs. Angela (Rocco) Conte. He was blessed to share wonderful memories with his 15 nieces and nephews. (Gaetanino, Mimmo, Silvio, Peppino, Anna, Nancy, Toni Ann, Carol, Tommy, Richie, Gina, Maria, Johnny, Denise, Beth) and numerous great nieces and nephews which kept him happy. A religious Worship Service will be held on Saturday February 13, 2021, 10:00 AM, at St. John The Baptist, Address: 670 Yonkers Ave, Yonkers, NY 10704 Phone: (914) 963-1486; the officiant will be Father Daniel Ulloa OP; and assisted by Deacon Nick. Interment will be at The Woodlawn Cemetery following the Service at 501 East 233rd Street Bronx, New York, 10470 (718- 920-0500) Memorial and Tribute Gifts: Those desiring may send memorial contributions in Loving Memory of Marco A.
