<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Melvin Hobson</strong><br /> (Tibishko kawawabashet)<br /> <em>&ldquo;Wind Walker&rdquo;</em></p> <p style="text-align: justify;">It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Melvin Hobson at the Health Sciences Centre on February 4, 2021 at the age of 62 years.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">He leaves to mourn his passing his wife of 19 years Sally Thomas; his children, Beth, Melanie, Aaron (Alissa), Cheyanne (Nick), Tara and Richard Wescoupe; his 26 grandchildren and his great-granddaughter Marilyn. He also leaves his siblings Gary (Shirley), Harry, Audrey and Brenda; Sally&rsquo;s family, Margaret, Malcolm (Rochelle),&nbsp;Archie (Darlene), Judy, Alma and Debbie (Richard), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">The angels that broke the trail of his journey were, his parents Harry and Irene, his brothers Rickie and Walter, his sister Gail Verna, his daughter Colleen, his grandson Travis, his nieces Deanna, Michelle, Peggy Dawn, Candace and Peyton and his parents-in-law Simon and Mae French.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">A Traditional Wake will be held at the Swan Lake First Nation Cultural Centre on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 4 p.m. The feast and funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 12 p.m.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">The Pallbearers are Dustin Hobson, Nick Myran, Eugene McKinney, Gerald Scott, Richard Wescoupe and Edgar Hobson.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Adam&rsquo;s Funeral Home of Notre Dame de Lourdes, Manitoba in care of arrangements.&nbsp; Phone 204-248-2201.&nbsp; To view this obituary and leave condolences, please visit www.afh.ca</p>
