Marlyn G. Deihl, 84, of Bloomsburg passed away on Sunday February 7, 2021 at Sunset Ridge Healthcare, Bloomsburg. She was born March 8, 1936 in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late Calvin and Ruth (Powlus) Holderman. She graduated from Catawissa High School. Marlyn worked at Community Service Group Home in Watsontown for 12 years before retiring. She was a member of Shiloh Bible Church. Marlyn loved animals, doing ceramics, watching old movies and musicals, gardening, but most of all going to Church. Marlyn is survived by her son Dennis Deihl of Bloomsburg, three step-children; Edward Deihl of Shamokin, Sally Knick of Pittston, Robert Deihl of Bloomsburg, and sister Sandra McDow. Marlyn was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband Donald Deihl, brother Calvin Holderman, and sister Barbara Rhoades. Services will be Friday February 10, 2021 at 11:00 am at Shiloh Bible Church, 123 Church St., Bloomsburg with her pastor, Dr. Douglas Lyon officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 am until time of service.
