Hermes “Herminio” Roman Perez, 78, of Union City, formerly of Jersey City; entered into eternal rest on Monday, February 1, 2021. He was born in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico.  His family will always remember him for going out of his way to help people.  He was very compassionate and caring to everyone.  

 

 

Hermes is survived by his loving children, Cruz Maria Roman, Mildred Roman, Carmen Reyes and her spouse, Ricky, Alex Roman, Robert Roman and his wife, Mayra, and Johanna Roman and her husband, Obed; his wife, Maria Vitalia Acosta; his sister, Dominga “Herminia”; his cherished grandchildren, Ozzie, Lionel, Jazmin, Aracelis, Christopher, Dominic, Samantha, Alyssa, Kayla, Ryan, Jayden; and by his many loving nieces, nephews, and other family members.  Hermes is predeceased in life by his parents, Nicasio and Paula Roman Perez; his children’s mother, Aracelis “Chely”; and by his grandson, Ricky Jr.

 

 

Visitation is Wednesday, February 10, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd. Jersey City, NJ 07306. (For GPS Navigation, it is best to use our parking lot address: 14 Stagg Street).  Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
